# E85 Stations USA vs Exit51

The clearest difference is monetization model: E85 Stations USA at free with in-app purchases against Exit51's subscription. E85 Stations USA also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 273). Exit51's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E85 Stations USA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Exit51 sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for E85 Stations USA against 4.6 for Exit51. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E85 Stations USA has 2.4K ratings behind it against 273, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 46% and 46% positive.

E85 Stations USA ships an update every 2 weeks, Exit51 every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
