# FODMAP & Allergy vs Lectin Light

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lectin Light at none against FODMAP & Allergy's 10. Lectin Light also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). FODMAP & Allergy's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 67%) and ratings volume (204 vs 4). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FODMAP & Allergy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Lectin Light asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lectin Light holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FODMAP & Allergy has 204 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of FODMAP & Allergy's written reviews are positive against 67% of Lectin Light's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
