# BeeFiles vs Icedrive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Icedrive at 69% against BeeFiles's 0%. Icedrive also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). BeeFiles's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icedrive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. BeeFiles asks for nothing beyond the download.

BeeFiles holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 36 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of BeeFiles's written reviews are positive against 69% of Icedrive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeeFiles ships an update every 3 months, Icedrive every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
