# Privacy vs TrustShield Adblocker

Privacy and TrustShield Adblocker both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of TrustShield Adblocker's written reviews are positive against 68% of Privacy's. Privacy's advantage is ratings volume (455 vs 33). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Privacy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and TrustShield Adblocker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Privacy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Privacy has 455 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Privacy's written reviews are positive against 93% of TrustShield Adblocker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Privacy ships an update every 10 days, TrustShield Adblocker every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
