# Khan Global Studies vs SSC Testbook

The clearest difference is rating: SSC Testbook at 5.0 against Khan Global Studies's 4.5. SSC Testbook also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Khan Global Studies's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (73% vs 50%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SSC Testbook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Khan Global Studies asks for nothing beyond the download.

SSC Testbook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Khan Global Studies's written reviews are positive against 50% of SSC Testbook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Khan Global Studies ships an update weekly, SSC Testbook every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
