# Aubo vs SelfieTwist

The clearest difference is rating: SelfieTwist at 5.0 against Aubo's 4.7. SelfieTwist also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 91%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). Aubo's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aubo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SelfieTwist sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SelfieTwist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aubo has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of Aubo's written reviews are positive against 100% of SelfieTwist's.

Aubo ships an update every 3 weeks, SelfieTwist every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
