# PhotoSolve vs AI Homework Helper

The clearest difference is monetization model: AI Homework Helper at free with in-app purchases against PhotoSolve's subscription. AI Homework Helper also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). PhotoSolve's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 100). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PhotoSolve sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and AI Homework Helper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Homework Helper holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PhotoSolve has 1.4K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of PhotoSolve's written reviews are positive against 80% of AI Homework Helper's.

PhotoSolve ships an update monthly, AI Homework Helper every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
