# Formula Tracker vs SpeedTrack Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: SpeedTrack Widgets at 5.0 against Formula Tracker's 4.6. SpeedTrack Widgets also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). Formula Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formula Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SpeedTrack Widgets sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeedTrack Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Formula Tracker's written reviews are positive against 82% of SpeedTrack Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Formula Tracker ships an update every 2 weeks, SpeedTrack Widgets every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
