# CloudPaste vs MsgPort

The clearest difference is update cadence: CloudPaste at fortnightly against MsgPort's every 6 months. CloudPaste also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudPaste sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and MsgPort sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CloudPaste ships an update fortnightly, MsgPort every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
