# Copy AI vs Tess

The clearest difference is rating: Tess at 5.0 against Copy AI's 4.5. Copy AI's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Copy AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Tess sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tess holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Copy AI has 44 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
