# Braintastick vs SaidIt

The clearest difference is monetization model: SaidIt at free with in-app purchases against Braintastick's subscription. SaidIt also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). Braintastick's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Braintastick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SaidIt sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Braintastick ships an update every 3 months, SaidIt every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
