# WanLog vs WaPulse

The clearest difference is rating: WaPulse at 5.0 against WanLog's 4.3. WanLog's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (35 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WanLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and WaPulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WaPulse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WanLog has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WanLog ships an update fortnightly, WaPulse every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
