# Bilantan vs Birdfy

The clearest difference is rating: Birdfy at 4.1 against Bilantan's 2.5. Birdfy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 7 months). Bilantan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and review sentiment (78% vs 49%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birdfy sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.39 per month. Bilantan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Birdfy holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birdfy has 3.8K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Bilantan's written reviews are positive against 49% of Birdfy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bilantan ships an update every 7 months, Birdfy every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
