# Chess Blitz vs CPChess

The clearest difference is ads: CPChess at none against Chess Blitz's shown. Chess Blitz's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chess Blitz sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and CPChess sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
