# Shoot Defender vs Bullet Inc

The clearest difference is rating: Bullet Inc at 4.4 against Shoot Defender's 3.7. Bullet Inc also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shoot Defender sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Bullet Inc sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bullet Inc holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 206 and 452 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Shoot Defender's written reviews are positive against 7% of Bullet Inc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
