# Ally vs MindBox

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ally at 100% against MindBox's 25%. Ally also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). MindBox's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (38 vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ally sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and MindBox sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ally holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MindBox has 38 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Ally's written reviews are positive against 25% of MindBox's.

Ally ships an update every 2 weeks, MindBox every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
