# Novelpack vs motonovel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Novelpack at 76% against motonovel's 6%. Novelpack also leads on rating (4.4 vs 1.3) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 152). motonovel's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novelpack sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and motonovel sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Novelpack holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Novelpack has 3.5K ratings behind it against 152, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Novelpack's written reviews are positive against 6% of motonovel's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
