# Shadow Work vs Dreamseer

Shadow Work and Dreamseer both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Dreamseer's written reviews are positive against 59% of Shadow Work's. Dreamseer also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Shadow Work's advantage is ratings volume (374 vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shadow Work sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Dreamseer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Shadow Work against 4.7 for Dreamseer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shadow Work has 374 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Shadow Work's written reviews are positive against 87% of Dreamseer's.

Shadow Work ships an update every 3 months, Dreamseer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
