# Masala Wok vs HalalFinders

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Masala Wok at 997 against HalalFinders's 2. HalalFinders's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Masala Wok against 5.0 for HalalFinders. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Masala Wok has 997 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
