# Addons vs Labs

The clearest difference is update cadence: Labs at every 2 weeks against Addons's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Addons sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Labs sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Addons ships an update every 5 weeks, Labs every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
