# V2Box vs CarTab

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: V2Box at none against CarTab's 1. V2Box also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 1) and chart position (#92 vs unranked). CarTab's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CarTab sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. V2Box asks for nothing beyond the download.

CarTab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V2Box has 99K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

V2Box ships an update every 4 days, CarTab every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
