# Baseball Live vs HomeCourse Hero

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HomeCourse Hero at none against Baseball Live's 5. HomeCourse Hero also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Baseball Live's advantage is ratings volume (64 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball Live sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. HomeCourse Hero asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Baseball Live against 5.0 for HomeCourse Hero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball Live has 64 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Baseball Live ships an update fortnightly, HomeCourse Hero every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
