# Baseball Live vs Boxscore9

The clearest difference is ads: Baseball Live at none against Boxscore9's shown. Baseball Live also leads on ratings volume (64 vs 1). Boxscore9's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball Live sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Boxscore9 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Baseball Live against 5.0 for Boxscore9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baseball Live has 64 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Baseball Live ships an update fortnightly, Boxscore9 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
