# Remote Control Sam TV vs Smart Camera connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: Remote Control Sam TV at every 3 weeks against Smart Camera connect's every 7 months. Remote Control Sam TV also leads on review sentiment (51% vs 29%) and ratings volume (522 vs 35). Smart Camera connect's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Control Sam TV sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Smart Camera connect sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Camera connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Control Sam TV has 522 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Remote Control Sam TV's written reviews are positive against 29% of Smart Camera connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remote Control Sam TV ships an update every 3 weeks, Smart Camera connect every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
