# Loop vs Wallpaper

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wallpaper at none against Loop's 1. Loop's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.2 vs 18.1). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wallpaper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Loop ships an update every 2 weeks, Wallpaper every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
