# Rummy Royale vs SecondTap

The clearest difference is ads: SecondTap at none against Rummy Royale's shown. SecondTap also leads on update cadence (daily vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Rummy Royale's advantage is ratings volume (404 vs 3) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rummy Royale sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and SecondTap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SecondTap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rummy Royale has 404 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rummy Royale ships an update monthly, SecondTap daily. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
