# Askbot vs ClassGenie

The clearest difference is update cadence: ClassGenie at every 2 days against Askbot's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Askbot sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and ClassGenie sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Askbot ships an update fortnightly, ClassGenie every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
