# Simpletv+ vs Airtek TV

The clearest difference is rating: Simpletv+ at 4.6 against Airtek TV's 4.2. Simpletv+ also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 10). Airtek TV's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 32%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Simpletv+ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simpletv+ has 1.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Simpletv+'s written reviews are positive against 60% of Airtek TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simpletv+ ships an update every 5 months, Airtek TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
