# Cretapedia vs TestByState

The clearest difference is rating: TestByState at 5.0 against Cretapedia's 4.6. TestByState also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Cretapedia's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cretapedia sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month and TestByState sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TestByState holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cretapedia has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cretapedia ships an update monthly, TestByState weekly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
