# Grit vs Routine Grid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Routine Grid at every 4 days against Grit's fortnightly. Routine Grid also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). Grit's advantage is device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grit sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Routine Grid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grit ships an update fortnightly, Routine Grid every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
