# AI Writeon vs Refext

The clearest difference is device support: AI Writeon at 3 against Refext's —. AI Writeon also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Writeon sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Refext sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
