# High Profile vs Root 66 Dispensary

The clearest difference is rating: Root 66 Dispensary at 4.3 against High Profile's 4.0. High Profile's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (190 vs 33). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Root 66 Dispensary holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: High Profile has 190 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of High Profile's written reviews are positive against 71% of Root 66 Dispensary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

High Profile ships an update every 3 months, Root 66 Dispensary every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
