# High Profile vs JARS Cannabis

The clearest difference is rating: JARS Cannabis at 4.8 against High Profile's 4.0. JARS Cannabis also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (4.6K vs 190). High Profile's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JARS Cannabis holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JARS Cannabis has 4.6K ratings behind it against 190, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of High Profile's written reviews are positive against 75% of JARS Cannabis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

High Profile ships an update every 3 months, JARS Cannabis fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
