# High Profile vs Proper Cannabis

The clearest difference is rating: Proper Cannabis at 4.8 against High Profile's 4.1. Proper Cannabis also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 188). High Profile's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Proper Cannabis holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proper Cannabis has 1.2K ratings behind it against 188, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 76% and 76% positive.

High Profile ships an update every 3 months, Proper Cannabis fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
