# Finalist vs ProYou

The clearest difference is monetization model: ProYou at free against Finalist's free with in-app purchases. ProYou also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Finalist's advantage is ratings volume (543 vs 4) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Finalist sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ProYou sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProYou holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Finalist has 543 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Finalist's written reviews are positive against 100% of ProYou's.

Finalist ships an update weekly, ProYou every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
