# Purple Smart Base vs SomosBeds

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SomosBeds at 100% against Purple Smart Base's 56%. Purple Smart Base's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (690 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Purple Smart Base holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purple Smart Base has 690 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Purple Smart Base's written reviews are positive against 100% of SomosBeds's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
