# Chat AI vs Chat PLUS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chat PLUS at 100% against Chat AI's 50%. Chat PLUS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Chat AI's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Chat PLUS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chat AI holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Chat AI's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chat PLUS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chat AI ships an update weekly, Chat PLUS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
