# Superchat vs AI Assistant

The clearest difference is update cadence: Superchat at every 3 days against AI Assistant's every 11 days. Superchat also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 50%) and ratings volume (1K vs 70). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superchat sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and AI Assistant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Superchat against 4.6 for AI Assistant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superchat has 1K ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Superchat's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI Assistant's.

Superchat ships an update every 3 days, AI Assistant every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
