# Shot Pattern vs Dope Golf

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dope Golf at none against Shot Pattern's 8. Dope Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Shot Pattern's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 3). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Dope Golf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dope Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Pattern has 2.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
