# Shot Pattern vs LinkRival

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LinkRival at none against Shot Pattern's 8. LinkRival also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Shot Pattern's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 5). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. LinkRival asks for nothing beyond the download.

LinkRival holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Pattern has 2.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
