# Shot Pattern vs Next18Now

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Next18Now at 100% against Shot Pattern's 67%. Next18Now also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Shot Pattern's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Next18Now sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Next18Now holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Pattern has 2.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Shot Pattern's written reviews are positive against 100% of Next18Now's.
