The clearest difference is ratings volume: Shot Pattern at 2.1K against Pure Strike Golf's 1. Shot Pattern also leads on chart position (#146 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 1). Pure Strike Golf's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Pure Strike Golf sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
