# OBDSTAR vs Speed

The clearest difference is rating: Speed at 5.0 against OBDSTAR's 1.5. Speed also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). OBDSTAR's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Speed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively.
