# Themee vs Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Widgets at 5.0 against Themee's 4.2. Themee's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgets sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Themee asks for nothing beyond the download.

Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Themee has 36 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Themee ships an update every 3 weeks, Widgets every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
