# Themee vs Magic Screen

The clearest difference is ads: Themee at none against Magic Screen's shown. Themee also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Magic Screen's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Themee ships an update every 3 weeks, Magic Screen every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
