# Chatsy vs Open Chat

The clearest difference is rating: Chatsy at 4.8 against Open Chat's 3.7. Chatsy also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chatsy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Open Chat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chatsy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chatsy has 26 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
