# Uniformity vs HyNote

The clearest difference is rating: HyNote at 4.8 against Uniformity's 4.3. HyNote also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 101) and chart position (#130 vs unranked). Uniformity's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyNote sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Uniformity asks for nothing beyond the download.

HyNote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HyNote has 7.7K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Uniformity's written reviews are positive against 77% of HyNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Uniformity ships an update fortnightly, HyNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
