# Presto vs SharkPin

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Presto at none against SharkPin's 10. Presto also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 3) and chart position (#210 vs unranked). SharkPin's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SharkPin sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Presto asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Presto against 5.0 for SharkPin. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Presto has 6.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Presto's written reviews are positive against 100% of SharkPin's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
