# Lives vs Boundless connection

The clearest difference is update cadence: Boundless connection at every 2 days against Lives's fortnightly. Lives's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lives ships an update fortnightly, Boundless connection every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
