# SelfNote vs Papyr

The clearest difference is device support: SelfNote at 4 against Papyr's 2. SelfNote also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SelfNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Papyr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
